Suspects ID'd in Woodbridge homicide

Two suspects have been identified in connection with a Woodbridge homicide that happened on November 1.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Two suspects have been identified in connection with a Woodbridge homicide that happened on November 1.

Gilbert Kinard was found dead in the 15200 block of Brazil Cir in Woodbridge. Prince William County Police said the investigation shows that the victim and two suspects were involved in a fight that happened earlier in the morning in the area of Bronco Way and Benita Fitzgerald Dr. around 2 a.m.

The victim was stabbed to his upper body, police stated. The victim then ran from the scene and died from his injuries on the front steps of a townhome.

Arrest warrants for both of the suspects involved were obtained following the investigation. Police have not been able to find these suspects. Both suspects have ties locally and in New York City, police added.

Byron Alan King, 30, of Woodbridge, described as a black man, 5'8" tall and 165 pounds is wanted. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Lamar D. Lewis, 35, of Woodbridge, described as a black man, 6'1" tall, weighing 229 pounds is also wanted. He also has black hair and brown eyes.

Both of the men are wanted for murder.
