Suspect wanted for killing guard at Potomac Mills Mall

A man is dead after a stabbing that occurred outside the Burlington Coat Factory in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police said.

A man is dead after a stabbing that occurred outside the Burlington Coat Factory in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police said.

It happened at the Potomac Mills Mall in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle around 2 p.m. Saturday.

Two employees confronted a suspected shoplifter as he was leaving the building. During the encounter, a struggle ensued and one of the employees, identified as Larry Donnell Drumgole, 44, or Rappahannock, was stabbed to death. The other was not injured.

Police identified Jamel Carlos Kingsbury, 35, through a previous unrelated domestic call from that same morning. Officers obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Kingsbury fled the scenel, possibly on foot, police said. They conducted an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate him.

The suspect has not yet been apprehended. He is described as a black male, 6'2" tall, 190 pounds with black hair and green eyes.
