Man accused of sexually assaulting another man in Prince William Co. apartment arrested

The accused suspect is being held without bond.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Editor's Note: This video is from May 2022 about Prince William County police chief discussing violent crimes.

A suspect accused of sexually assaulting a man in Woodbridge on Sunday has been arrested, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Officers responded around 7:46 a.m. to Stone Point Apartments, located on Potomac Heights Place, after a report of a sexual assault that happened earlier that morning. At the scene, the 26-year-old victim informed authorities that he was inside an apartment when an unknown person pushed him onto a bed and sexually assaulted him.

The victim was able to eventually leave the apartment and contact the police. 

During an investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect as 30-year-old Dalonte Johnson, who lives on Potomac Heights Place in Woodbridge. He was located later that same day at the apartment and arrested for forcible sodomy, according to police. Johnson is being held without bond.
