Investigation underway into string of burglaries to homes under construction in Prince William County

Several appliances were reported missing from the homes.

BRISTOW, Va. — The Prince William County Police Department is investigating after a string of burglaries to under-construction homes.

The investigation began after officers responded to Lintons Ford Lane, off of Linton Hall Road, in Bristow just before 2:30 p.m. on Monday to investigate multiple burglaries that had happened. It was determined that sometime between 3 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, five homes that are under construction were burglarized. 

Two of the homes were forcefully entered while three of the homes were entered through an unsecured door. Several appliances were reported missing from the homes.

No information has been released about a possible person(s) of interest in the case. The investigation is active and ongoing.
