FAIRFAX, Va. — Police are searching for two men who reportedly tried to rob a bank through a drive-thru in Fairfax County last week.
According to the Fairfax County Police Department, the attempted bank robbery happened just after 10:45 a.m. at a Wells Fargo bank located on John Milton Drive on Thursday, March 14.
When officers arrived, they learned two men pulled into the bank's drive-thru and passed a note threatening the teller and demanding money. Shortly after handing over the note, police say the men drove off without the cash.
No weapons were used and no one was injured.
Officers say they searched for the suspects but the two men were not found after they drove away in a black Audi SUV.
