GAINESVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Students and staff were evacuated from Buckland Mills Elementary School in Gainesville following an unconfirmed bomb threat on Friday.
As police investigated the unconfirmed telephone bomb threat, students and staff were safely evacuated from the building, a Prince William County Public Schools spokesperson said.
Police did not find anything of concern on their first check of the building. They have brought in canines to help search for anything suspicious before giving the all clear.
