Police identify 3 killed in Spotsylvania with 'sharp object'

They also found a toddler and an infant inside the home who were unharmed.

SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — Police are investigating a triple homicide after finding three people dead inside a Spotsylvania County home on Wednesday morning.

Deputies responded to a home at 9 a.m. in the 8300 block of Arlene Acres drive and found three dead bodies inside the home: two adults and one teenager. They also found a toddler and an infant inside the home who were unharmed. The two were transported to a local hospital. 

Thursday, police identified the victims as Michael Coleman, 39, Rachel Ozuna, 34, and Kyrrus Ozuna, 14. 

Investigators said they were investigating the three deaths as homicides and believe the three were killed with a "sharp instrument."

"This investigation is still in the early stages and Detectives are actively processing evidence and conducting interviews," the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office said in a release Thursday.
