WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Va. firefighters responded to a townhouse fire in Lake Ridge early Sunday morning.

Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department said the fire happened at 12377 Manchester Way in Lake Ridge around 1:37 a.m.

Crews said there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof of the townhouse.

Fire crews said there was fire coming from the second floor and the attic areas. Crews were able to get the fire under control within about 20 minutes, according to authorities.

The fire is being investigated by the Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office, authorities said.

American Red Cross help the occupants of the townhouse find temporary housing, according to authorities.

There were no injuries in the incident.
