LEESBURG, Va. — A mother and daughter are facing charges after police say they stole more than $1,500 worth of home goods and clothing from Leesburg Premium Outlets and a nearby shopping center.
According to the Leesburg Police Department, 57-year-old Lucy Lamb and her 22-year-old daughter Landon Lamb have both been charged with five counts of misdemeanor shoplifting.
On Monday afternoon, police say they received a report regarding shoplifting at the Leesburg Premium Outlets. Officers responded and found Lucy and Landon Lamb in the mall's parking lot.
Investigators say the mother and daughter duo had stolen merchandise from multiple stores between the outlets and a nearby shopping center.
Police report they recovered more than $1,500 worth of clothing, household goods and pet supplies.
Lucy and Landon Lamb were both arrested and taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where each was released on an unsecured bond.
