Man expected to survive following stabbing at Dulles Town Center

Very little is known about the stabbing but the victim is expected to survive.

STERLING, Va. — Deputies are investigating a stabbing at Dulles Town Center.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, the attack happened at the mall located at 21100 Dulles Town Circle in Sterling, Friday evening.

Very little is known about the stabbing at this time but deputies have said an unidentified man was injured. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive.

There is no word on suspect information at this time.

Deputies have not said anything regarding a possible motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the stabbing.

This is not the first violent crime to happen at Dulles Town Center this year. In April, YouTuber Tanner Cook was shot while recording a prank video. The man who shot Cook was later found not guilty by a jury, citing self-defense.
