MERRIFIELD, Va. (WUSA9) – The man accused of touching an 11-year-old girl inappropriately while she was with her father in a Virginia store has been arrested, according to Fairfax County police.
Brendon Jennings Cordova, 19, of Vienna was turned himself into police Thursday.
The incident took place just after 5 p.m. on Jun 18, 2016. Police said the girl was shopping with her father at the Mosaic District Target on District Avenue. Once the girl got home, police said she told her father that a stranger approached her at the store and touched her buttocks.
Security video from the Target store confirmed her story.
Thursday, officials charged Cordova with three counts of aggravated sexual battery.
