LAKERIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A family has been displaced after a house fire was caused by a lighting strike Saturday night, Occoquan Woodbridge Lorton Volunteer Fire Department.
The fire happened around 9:42 p.m. at the home located at 11798 Mohican Road in Lake Ridge, officials said. Crews responded to the scene and saw fire coming from the roof. They were able to get the fire under control within five minutes.
Nobody was injured in the fire, however one family had to be displaced.
