Inmates assault man at Manassas detention center

Two men are being charged after a 47-year-old man was assaulted by three other inmates at the adult detention center located in Manassas on May 9.
Two inmates are being charged in connection with assaulting a man at the Manassas Detention Center for Adults.

MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Two men are being charged after a 47-year-old man was assaulted by three other inmates at the adult detention center located in Manassas on May 9.

Officers responded to the center located at 9320 Lee Ave to investigate an assault between inmates, Prince William County police said. The investigation shows that three inmates assaulted at 47-year-old inmate at the facility.

The victim sustained serious injuries to his face and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police were able to identify two of the three suspects involved.

Jeremiah Randy Jackson, 26, and Darren Nathaniel Davis 30, are both charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
