GREAT FALLS, Va. — Police say a man is in custody after an armed bank robbery in Fairfax County Friday morning.
According to police, the man entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 750 Walker Road in Great Falls. He displayed a gun, took money and drove away from the area.
The alleged robber was caught a short time later in Montgomery County.
This is the second Wells Fargo bank robbery in roughly 48 hours. A Wells Fargo in Springfield was robbed Wednesday morning. However, police say the two robberies are not related, and the person responsible for the first robbery was already in custody.
Additional details about Friday's robbery have not been made public.
