OAKTON, Va. — Firefighters with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue battled flames in a house fire overnight.
The fire department announced at 12:40 a.m. Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a home located on Bree Hill Road, off of Fox Mill Road, was on fire and that they were at the location to tackle it. When they arrived, they said there was flames showing from the rear of the home.
Crews continued to work to bring the fire under control. Fire officials say that everyone in the home has been accounted for. There are no reports of injuries, this includes the firefighters who worked to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire has not been released at this time, along with the extent of the damage.
