Residents escape fire at Fairfax County home

Fire broke out at home in 8300 block of Argent Circle in Fairfax Station.

FAIRFAX STATION, Va. — Residents were able to escape fire at a home in Fairfax County early Tuesday morning, officials said.

The fire was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 8300 block Argent Circle in Fairfax Station, officials said. Crews reported heavy smoke coming from the back of the home, officials said.

All the residents of the home were able to make it out safely, officials said. 

The bulk of fire was knocked down around 6:50 a.m., officials said. No injuries were reported, officials said. 

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Fire investigators were at the scene around 7:45 a.m. to help determine the cause, officials said.
