Fawn falls into window well of home, rescued by Fairfax Co. police

Police guided the fawn to nearby shrubs to wait for its mother, officials say.

FAIRFAX, Va. — A fawn was rescued by Fairfax County police after it fell into a window well of a home in Great Falls, police said.

According to police, officer Kolwicz jumped into the window well and handed the fawn to MAPPO Milburn.

They guided the fawn to nearby shrubs so she could wait for her mom to return.
