Early voting in Virginia impacted by Friday's flurries

Early voting will continue through March 2.

VIRGINIA, USA — Early voting for the March 5 Dual Presidential Primaries was set to begin in Virginia on Friday, but snowy flurries delayed that in some counties.

On Friday morning, Loudoun County tweeted that early morning voting centers would be closing at 2 p.m.

Fairfax tweeted they would not open at all and early voting would instead begin to take place on Saturday, January 20.

But for those eager to exercise their voting rights, Alexandria and Arlington Counties opened on time and stayed open until 5 p.m.

Early voting will continue through March 2.

To find your voter poll, check your voter registration card, visit Virginia’s Department of Elections website, or call 703-746-4050.
