MCLEAN, Va. — A man was found dead after a fire burned through a house in Fairfax County on Monday morning, the Fairfax County Police Department said.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue first tweeted about the fire around 9:45 a.m., which was burning in a neighborhood in the 4000 block of Ridgeview Circle in McLean. A second alarm was called to bring more firefighters to the scene and bring the blaze under control.
The police department said its detectives were responding to the scene after a man was found dead in a bedroom in the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No other details have been released.
