VIRGINIA, USA — The Virginia State Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man believed to be critically missing.
On behalf of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, a critically missing adult alert was issued for 22-year-old Darius Joshua Appiah on January 26.
Appiah was last seen on January 24 a few minutes before 3 p.m. on Mine Road in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Appiah is described as a Black man, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-11 and weighs about 170 pounds. He was possibly wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and brown hiking boots.
If you have seen Appiah, you are asked to call 911 or the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4400.
A GoFundMe was also started to help raise funds for the family hoping to bring Appiah home. As of 5 p.m. Thursday, the fundraiser has amassed just over $8,000. The GoFundMe says the money will be used to hire a private investigator and create a reward fund.
