Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from a jail in western Virginia.
Officials say 28-year-old Coty G. Johnson and 25-year-old Daniel G. Henderson escaped from Middle River Regional Jail in Staunton early Monday morning.
Authorities say the two, who were being held on drug charges, were on a trash duty assignment inside the jail's kitchen and were being escorted by an officer when they escaped at about 3:20 a.m.
Officials say one or both men may be in a white Honda Civic with a black hood.
