Stafford County Fire Marshal's Office seeks arson suspect

Through their investigation, the Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was set intentionally.

STAFFORD, Va. — The Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to a vehicle fire. 

Units from the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Interstate Business Park on Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a medium-duty work truck was on fire. 

The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported. Through their investigation, the Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was set intentionally. Surveillance footage captured a person in dark clothing and a burgundy Toyota SUV at the scene during the time of the crime.
