ARLINGTON, Va. — Update: The Arlington County Police Department says Latasha Boatwright, 31, her son, 7-year-old Jayce Peterson, and her daughter, 4-year-old Zaria Peterson have been located. Police thanked everyone for sharing information to help find the trio.
Arlington County Police are asking for the public to help them find a mom and her two children who have gone missing just days before Christmas.
Latasha Boatwright, 31, her son, 7-year-old Jayce Peterson, and her daughter, 4-year-old Zaria Peterson all last had contact with family on Dec. 21 around 1:30 p.m.
Police say that Latasha Boatwright is described as a Black woman, approximately 5'7" tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. Jayce Peterson is also Black, around 4’0” tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. His little sister, Zaria, is described is Black and around 3’0” tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The trio was last seen in the 2900 block of South Glebe Road.
Police say that they, and the family, are concerned for the mother and children's health and welfare and are asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
