2 people shocked by power lines while working in Loudoun Co.

The two adults, only identified as men, were taken to an area hospital for help with life-threatening injuries.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — Two people have been hospitalized after coming into contact with live power lines while working in Loudoun County, Virginia Tuesday.

According to the Leesburg Police Department, officers were called to the 800 block of Banker Drive SW just before 1 p.m.

When officers arrived, they learned two people had come into contact with the live power lines. 

The two adults, only identified as men, were taken to an area hospital for help with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into how the workers were shocked has been turned over to OSHA.
