DUMFRIES, Va. — A 15-year-old is facing charges after a student told their school counselor they were sexually assaulted by the teen at a home in Dumfries.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the assault happened in October 2023 and the unnamed teen was charged on Tuesday, January 30.
Police say the 15-year-old sexually assaulted the victim, who was under 18 at the time. The victim later told a school counselor what happened, who called the police.
Following an investigation, police arrested the 15-year-old and charged him with rape.
