A Prince George's County man has been extradited for charges of murder and assault, after being wanted since April 7, officials said.
Patrick Stran was wanted on an arrest warrant for first-degree murder after allegedly shooting into a car hitting a male victim in Laurel, Md on March 25. The car crashed into a dumpster and the victim died. Stran fled the scene.
According to the warrant, Stran and the victim had an altercation before the incident.
Sheriff’s deputies extradited Stan back to Prince George’s County from a jail in Eureka, California. He is also charged with second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, handgun on person, firearm use ad felony violent and violent crime.
