RESTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Severe storms rolled across the D.C. Metro region on Thursday bringing down multiple trees.
Trees fell on top of two houses in a Reston neighborhood. A tree toppled on top of one house in the 12000 block of Trotter Lane. Another house further down the cul-de-sac was also hit by a tree.
Photos captured as a tree crew arrived on the scene show the damage.
Trees also fell on power lines in cars in the area of Walhonding Road in Bethesda.
More storm damage was reported on Downs Drive at Eastbourne Drive. Pete Piringer of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue says there are massive trees down and homes are damaged.
