GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA) -- Police have arrested and charged a suspect for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct in Maryland.
Robert James Hess, 39 has been charged with 4th degree sex offense, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, police said.
On Feb. 19, surveillance video photos shared on social media gave detectives to a tip which eventually led to the arrest of Hess on Feb. 20. at his home.
During the course of two weeks, officials had been investigating reports of indecent exposure incidents. n Feb. 4, around 9:40 p.m. at 7446 B&A Blvd. the suspect exposed himself to the clerk at an area business. On Feb. 10, around 7:04 p.m. at 7480 B&A Blvd., the suspect exposed himself to an Anne Arundel Community College student. On Feb. 10, around 8:13 p.m. at the Michael's Crafts Store located at 16 Mountain Road, the suspect grabbed a victim's buttocks and then left the store on foot. On Feb. 12, around 2:20 p.m. near 7480 B&A Blvd, the suspect exposed himself in a lewd manner to an Anne Arundel Community College student leaving the Glen Burnie Campus. On Feb. 15, around 12:00 p.m, the suspect exposed himself to a store customer at the Five and Below Store located at 6714 Ritchie Highway, officials said.
