STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man who was taking photos of women at a store was also found with marijuana, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office authorities.
The incident happened at a store in the 45100 block of Columbia Place in Sterling at 10:17 a.m. Monday, say police. Officers were told that a man was using his cell phone to take pictures up the skirts of unsuspecting women, also known as "upskirting."
Officers located the suspect. He was identified as 32-year-old Shahram Ghassemi of Sterling.
Police say Ghassemi was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was charged with unlawful photography and possession of marijuana.
Ghassemi remains held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
