MANASSAS PARK, Va. — As searches continue for a missing mother from Manassas Park, her husband is sharing new details about the last time he saw her.
Police say Mamta Kafle Bhatt, 28, was last seen on July 31. Her husband reported her missing on Aug. 5.
"It's like very tough," Naresh Bhatt, her husband, told WUSA9 in an interview Wednesday afternoon. WUSA9 asked him when he last saw or spoke to her. He said they ate dinner together on the night she was last seen.
"We ate on the evening of Wednesday. She was the one who cooked and do the kitchen stuff. We do not have any specific conversation. We do not have any argument or something like that," Naresh Bhatt.
He told WUSA9 they've been married for three years. "She's a special person for me because she's caring and loving," he said "I'm very sad."

Manassas Park Police say they conducted a welfare check at the home of a 28-year-old mother three days before she was reported missing by her husband.
Police Chief Mario Lugo confirmed to WUSA9 that on Aug. 2, his officers responded to Mamta Kafle Bhatt's home following concerns from her colleagues at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Naresh Bhatt reported his wife missing on Aug. 5, according to authorities.
WUSA9 asked her husband what happened between the days he last saw her, and the day he reported her missing.
"On the day she did not come back. Usually, once she left, she came back. She did not come back and I just searched around. The next day, police came and police told me she was not at work and I was very serious because she's the one who would never leave her work," he said.
He told WUSA9 he started talking to the officers about how it was not the first time she had gone missing.
"I started talking to police and they say you've got to search around because it is not the first time, it happens before, maybe she's hanging with someone, a close friend or family. That's what I did, but I could not find her and then I say that to the police officer and he say I can file a complaint and I filed a complaint according to that," said Bhatt.
He said she has gone missing three times prior to this. WUSA9 asked him what the circumstances around her disappearance at those times were.
"At that time, she has some demands so that's why she just step out and stay with a couple times with her friends and one time she moved to Falls Church, to someone, I don't know the name but she has an apartment," said Naresh Bhatt.
He said she's never been gone this long before.
"I last heard from her personally on July 28. She called me a couple times, but I was asleep. And I got a call from someone I met at Mamta's baby shower and she asked me if I knew where Mamta was," said Mamta's former roommate, Nadia Navarro.
Over the weekend, Navarro launched a Facebook group dedicated to sharing information about Bhatt's case. The group went from social media to actually conducting searches in Prince William County.
Navarro says she met Bhatt when she first came to the United States and they both bonded over their experience being immigrants. She says Bhatt is originally from Nepal and the two grew so close they considered each other family.
"Mamta is not an impulsive person, she's a very responsible person, she's a very calm person. So to hear, that she might be missing, I really doubt she would run away," Navarro added. Navarro says she has a very difficult time believing that the first-time mother would leave her 10-month-old daughter.
On Wednesday, the community gathered outside the Manassas Park Police Department to demand answers. Naresh Bhatt addressed the crowd but received a lot of backlash.
WUSA9 asked him what his message is to those who've expressed frustrations with the way he has handled her disappearance.
"I'm the one who is suffering. She is my baby's Mom. She is my wife. I'm the one suffering, so I don't what I'm supposed to say," said Naresh Bhatt. He told WUSA9 that he's very worried about where she is.
His message for her, if she sees this: "Hey just come back. I'm myself and my baby, we are waiting like every second, every minute we are waiting. If you are listening, just we are waiting here for you. We need you," he said.
In a statement, Manassas Park Police wrote:
"This case is active and ongoing. What we can share at this time is the following: the investigators have conducted several follow-ups with neighbors, friends, co-workers and the husband. The investigators are also utilizing several investigative tools to help in an attempt to locate Mamta Kafle."
