WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County police have made an arrest in the November killing of a 78-year-old Woodbridge, Va. man.
James Willie Bethea, 47, of 3432 Caledonia Circle is charged with murder in the death of Charlie Adkins. Adkins also lived in the 3400 block of Caledonia Circle. Police say the two were known to each other.
Police say detectives were able to identify Bethea after forensic evidence collected at the scene was analyzed. He was arrested Thursday without incident and is being held without bond.
In November, police responded to Adkins' residence after a visitor arrived and found the residence unsecured. Adkins had sustained an upper body injury and was pronounced dead the scene.
