WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Officials have arrested and charged a woman with malicious wounding after she tried to attack a victim using a box cutter.
The incident happened on Monday around 9:38 p.m. when officials responded to a domestic violence call at a home located at the 15700 block of Tassia Lane. The victim, a 45 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to Police that Pattie Eileen Jarrett-Sarpong, 52 were acquaintances who were fighting. When the argument escalated, she cut the victim to his arm with a box cutter, police said.
Officials say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
