GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police have arrested a woman who they say ran over a man with her car and hit a deputy.
On July 24, an Anne Arundel County sheriff's deputy was evicting 25-year-old Kalli Colleen Kassab from a residence in the 6600 block of Shelly Road when she became disorderly, according to police.
Police say Kassab spit on one of the employees at the property, a 24-year-old man, and hit him with her car. Police say Kassab backed over the man's leg, put the car in drive and hit him again.
The deputy tried to stop Kassab from leaving the area and was hit in the gun belt by the car's driver side mirror.
Police say Kassab fled the area and was found in the Dollar Store in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.
Kassab has been charged with Attempted Manslaughter, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and several traffic charges.
The 24-year-old man was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The deputy was not injured in the incident.
