ANNAPOLIS (WUSA9) -- The suspect in five shooting incidents in Maryland is now out of the hospital and in jail. We're learning why police took him to the hospital after taking him into custody.

Anne Arundel County police report that Hong Young is now being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond. He was released from a hospital where he was receiving treatment on Wednesday.

Police now say that Hong Young told them he was hearing voices during an interview at FBI headquarters. He agreed to talk to them without an attorney present, and said the voices prompted the Feb. 24th shooting incident, according to police. Young also admitted his involvement in the other shootings, according to police. Police say they have his statements on camera.

Police also say that management of the Maryland Live! Casino let them know about damage to the facades on the exterior of the building. Officers found what appear to be several bullet holes on facades on two sides of the building. They note that they received no calls from there for shots fired at any time during the investigation into the regional shootings and no reports of injuries.

"We have not confirmed that this incident is related to the suspect Young, but the method of operation appears to be similar," police said in a news release.
