WASHINGTON -- A 16-year-old suspect in the fatal shooting of 15-year-old boy in southeast Washington, D.C., has been arrested, police said.
Gerald Watson, 15, was outside his apartment when at least two masked men chased him into his aunt’s stairwell and fired at him nine times Thursday afternoon, police said.
At least two people carried out the shooting, police said. The shooting was related to neighborhood conflict, police said.
Malik Holston has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, police said.
