MARYLAND, USA — Several youth football teams have worked all season to make it to the national championships in Tampa, Florida. Now, the children need your help to raise the money it will cost to bring them to the championship games.
The United Youth Football League Nationals (UYFL) will be held in Tampa, Florida Dec. 3 through Dec. 10.
"It's very expensive," Coach Demitri Wallace said of getting his team, the Rosedale Tigers, to Florida. "We're trying to get as close as possible to $30,000 so that we can get the kids down there and so they can experience this good opportunity."
Below is a list of several teams across the DMV region that are hosting GoFundMes in hopes of raising enough money to cover travel and lodging costs.
