MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. — The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating a car collision that occurred Saturday morning.
According to the police, 6th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded around 2:16 a.m. to the report of a two-vehicle collision on Goshen Road near Rock Elm Way in Montgomery Village.
On the scene, police determined that a "blue Kia collided with a white Hyundai" and reported it on its X account:
Police stated that the driver of the Hyundai was extracted from the vehicle and taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Similarly, the driver of the Kia was also transported to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
While the identities of the mentioned individuals have not been released, the Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the incident.
