WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A police officer shot and killed a dog in Northwest, D.C. on Wednesday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident happened in the 200 block of Gallatin Street NW. Police say officers were responding to a report of a dog biting incident.
Police say the officer was not injured during the shooting.
