WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A new trial has been set for the man convicted of killing Washington, D.C. intern Chandra Levy.
Last week Ingmar Guandique was granted a new trial. Attorneys argued a key witness, Guandique's former cell-mate, lied during his first trial in 2010.
Friday, a judge set the new trial for Guandique for March 1, 2016. His attorneys' request to have him released on bond did not come up in court on Friday.
