DC Police say this 21-year-old woman may have been kidnapped

Police are asking for the public's help to find Amonie Anderson.

WASHINGTON — DC Police are asking for your help to find a woman they believe may have been kidnapped Thursday afternoon. Witnesses told responding Metropolitan Police Department officers that the woman was forced into a car and driven away.

Officers were first called to the 400 block of Brandywine Street in Southeast around 4 p.m. It was a reported that a man forced the potential victim, identified as 21-year-old Amonie Anderson, into the car and drove away following an argument between the two. Police called the argument "domestic in nature."

Anderson is described as about 5 foot 3 inches tall and 170 pounds with a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a light-colored tank top, light-colored sweatpants and a black bonnet on her head. 

Police say they've been told a man forced 21-year-old Amonie Anderson into a car and drove off with her.

The car involved is a white Infiniti Q54 sedan with a West Virginia tag number 34D631. The car was captured on surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photo below:
