SILVER SPRING, Md. — Police in Montgomery County are searching for a teenager who vanished from Silver Spring on Monday and has not been seen since.
Montgomery County Police say 13-year-old Acet'Ola Harris was last seen around 7 a.m. in the 8600 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring. That's not far from the Flower Branch Apartments.
Acet'Ola is described as being about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. They were last seen wearing a black, red and white Nike zip-up hooded sweatshirt and a long gray skirt. She was carrying a gray and white backpack, according to police.
Police shared a photo of the girl on Tuesday.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance have not been made public.
