MANASSAS PARK, Va. — It's now been two months since Mamta Kafle Bhatt was last seen by anyone other than her husband, Naresh Bhatt.
Friday night, a community of her supporters gathered outside the Manassas Park Police Department to honor and remember the missing mother and nurse.
"She was the symbol of love. Her name Mamta is love and she reflects her name. She was very loving and caring as a friend and as a sister," said Sunita Basnet, a close friend of Mamta.
They held signs, lit candles and shared memories.
"We got some really tough news in court last week and when we left we realized we need to come back together as a community," said Holly Wirth.
While Mamta is still classified as missing, her husband Naresh Bhatt was arrested on Aug. 22 and charged with concealing a dead body. He remains behind bars on no bond.
Last Friday, prosecutors shared some of their evidence during Naresh Bhatt's bond hearing.
They say large amounts of blood was found inside the Manassas Park home where Mamta, Naresh and their young daughter lived.
Investigators also said there was evidence that a body had been moved. They told the judge that there is video of Naresh Bhatt going to different dump sites and throwing away bags, sometimes wearing gloves.
Prosecutors said he sold his Tesla the day after police asked to search it, and disabled the tracking device.
The judge ultimately denied his bond, deeming him a "flight risk" and "danger to the community."
Prosecutors also presented a 14 minute video, showing the first interaction police had with Naresh Bhatt on Aug. 2.
"I know that a lot of stuff was disclosed last Friday that made people think what in the world happened to her, and why," said Manassas Park Police Chief Mario Lugo.
He stood alongside the crowd Friday night, and thanked them for their support.
He told WUSA9 his officers will get Mamta justice.
"We're still trying to get other information additional leads, and figure out his whereabouts, where he travelled," said Chief Lugo, "We're here for justice for her we're gonna get a motive and move forward".
For those in the crowd Friday night, it was about remembering Mamta.
"We come because we want to pause because we want to think of joyful stuff and not so much what's happening in court," said Wirth.
"We are very determined committed to get her justice," said Basnet.
Naresh Bhatt is due back in court on Oct. 10.
