Community searches for missing Fairfax County woman with autism

FAIRFAX, Va. — Community and family members are searching for a woman who has not been seen for nearly a week in Fairfax County. Jiyoung "Jessie" Lee was last seen in Fairfax, Virginia on Saturday.

A flier posted on social media says Lee was last seen around 1 p.m. on Strawflower Street. She told her parents she was walking to Starbucks Lee Plaza Center at 11725 Lee Highway and has not been seen since. 

Lee, 34, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 200 pounds. She was last seen on surveillance video wearing a beige jacket, gray sweatpants, and carrying a red purse. Lee has autism and reportedly experiences schizophrenic episodes and needs medication.

Fairfax County Police are actively investigating Lee's disappearance. Anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts should contact them at 703-385-7924. Anonymous tips can be submitted via Fairfax County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
