Woman hurt in Prince George's County shooting

Police say she is in stable condition.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Police are investigating after a woman was shot in College Park near a Holiday Inn early Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to the 9000 block of Baltimore Avenue after a report of a shooting around 3:50 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound injury at a business in the area. 

She was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her wound. Police say she is in stable condition.

No information has been released at this time about a potential suspect in the case.

Detectives are working to determine what happened in the shooting.
