Woman injured after stabbing at Clarksburg High School, police say

Police say they are on the lookout for a suspect.

CLARKSBURG, Md. — An 18-year-old woman was injured after a reported stabbing at Clarksburg High School Monday evening, according to Montgomery County Police Department.

Officers were called to the stabbing just after 9 p.m. when they found an 18-year-old woman who they said was injured.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue teams were also called to the incident and took the woman to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The identity of the woman victim was not released.

Police said they are still looking for a suspect. Information about the potential suspect has also not been released.

The stabbing incident is under investigation. Police are working to determine the circumstances in this crime.
