LARGO, Md. — An 85-year-old woman has died from her injuries days after a crash involving an on-duty police officer in Prince George's County.

Police were called to the intersection of Campus Way South and Joyceton Drive in Largo, Maryland — near the Largo Plaza Shopping Center — just before 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 9 on a report of a collision between an on-duty police officer and another motorist. Officers arrived to find the driver of the second vehicle, 85-year-old Jeanette Benthall, of Largo, suffering from severe injuries.
