WALDORF, Md. — Police arrested a suspected killer and an alleged accessory linked to the Sept. 10 shooting that ended the life of a 25-year-old D.C. man.
The incident took place just before midnight at the 12100 block of Ell Lane in Waldorf where Arick Jordan Jackson was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said 33-year-old Darius Delonte Newman, of Clinton, was arrested on Sept. 21 and charged with accessory after the fact first-degree murder, accessory after the fact second-degree murder, and accessory after the fact in Jackson’s death.
In addition, 35-year-old Jermaine Christopher Stringer of Accokeek was arrested Oct. 5 and charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, illegal possession of a firearm due to a previous felony conviction, and other related charges
