A tractor trailer driver is injured after a CSX train accident in Point of Rocks, Maryland on Friday morning, officials said.
Around 9:30 a.m., Frederick Fire received a call from the CSX rail yard reporting a collision involving a freight train and a tractor trailer. It happened by the commuter lot near the rail yard.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The tractor trailer was carrying various kinds of batteries. There were no hazards outside of the trailer or train.
Officials said the train did not derail.
