A Prince George’s County middle school was placed on lockdown Tuesday after receiving a threat, police said.
Tuesday morning, a threat was called into Accokeek Academy located at 14400 Berry Road.
Out of an abundance of caution, officials placed the school on lockdown. The lockdown has since been lifted.
investigators are working to track down the source of the threat.
