ASPEN HILL, Md. (WUSA9) -- A 17-year-old has been arrested for fatally stabbing a 20-year-old man at a Sunoco gas station in Aspen Hill over a drug transaction, Montgomery County police said.
Elmer A. Galindo, 17, of Rockville was arrested and charged him with one count of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count of armed robbery, and one count of robbery. He is being held without bond, police said.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Jose Santos Fuentes of Aspen Hill.
According to authorities the assault happened Thursday at the gas station located at 14301 Georgia Avenue. Police said the stabbing happened after an argument escalated. They were arguing about a prior drug transaction that happened on Wednesday.
Galindo was found fleeing the area and was then stopped by police. He was found with blood on his pants. He also had a knife on him, according to authorities.
